Abstract
Cysticercosis cellulosae is a severe zoonotic disease caused by the larval stage(Cysticercus cellulosae)of the helminth Taenia solium.Vaccine plays an important role in preventing and controlling the disease.TSO18 gene is an immunogen gene of Taenia solium oncosphere(TSO)stage,which is regarded as the most perspective vaccine candidate gene.This article reviews molecular biology of Taenia solium oncosphere TSO18 gene and the development of TSO18 vaccine.
