Abstract

With Internet of things applies in more and more fields, application of UWB technology is very significant because the network sensory information is needs increasingly. The tolerance of UWB system for timing error interference is much lower than conventional systems because the information is transmitted through a very narrow pulse in UWB system. This paper studies timing effect of UWB system in Internet of things by the means of PPM modulation and time-hopping multi-access, and the experimental results show the impact of different timing error on the performance of system.
