Abstract

The thermal and moisture comfort of knitted fabrics is an important indicator that must be studied. It is related to the regulation of the heat and humidity of the human body by the knitted fabric. Its thermal comfort performance is mainly determined by the air content in the fabric, the density of the air, the static and active state of the air, its wet comfort performance is mainly manifested in the human body in a high temperature and high humidity environment or the human body to perform vigorous activities, and the skin surface and the outside world The ability of the fabric to absorb moisture, dissipate moisture or conduct moisture and convect and dehumidify when there is a humidity gradient in the environment [1]. Based on the above research, this paper comprehensively evaluate the thermal and moisture comfort of knitted fabrics by testing the thermal insulation, moisture permeability, air permeability and wicking ability of fabrics of different tissue structures.
