Abstract

AbstractThe rapid advancement of Internet + Education has brought a profound impact to the education industry. It has not only reshaped the educational concept and educational form, but also reconstructed the current classroom teaching environment. As a new form of classroom teaching environment, smart classroom has become one of the current research hotspots in the field of education. With the wide construction and application of smart classroom in colleges and universities, how to conduct smart management and service under smart classroom environment has become one of the key issues requiring to be addressed in colleges and universities. The management of smart classrooms in colleges and universities is an important and arduous service guarantee work, which plays an important role for teaching work. This study has proposed a system for managing and servicing smart classroom. The system includes three parts: display system, equipment control system and sound amplifying system. Finally, to explore the effectiveness of the system, an experiment study was conducted using a sample of 50 teachers and 362 college students from a university in south central China. The surveys showed that teachers and students are highly satisfied with the management and service system of the smart classroom Moreover, through independent sample t-test found the teacher’s satisfaction is higher than the student’s satisfaction. These results indicate that using smart classroom management system offers some distinct benefits for teachers and students. In future work, additional research is needed to clarify how the management and service system can serve education and teaching.KeywordsColleges and universitiesSmart classroomsSmart management and service
