Abstract
"This study uses gender theory and construction theory to study how the image of struggling women in movies and TV dramas has changed since the rise of feminism in China. Firstly, the research method of content analysis is used to conduct stratified sampling and coding for struggle films and TV dramas from 2013 to 2022. Secondly, it analyzes the data and finds that the female images in movies and TV dramas have changed in the past ten years, from male vassals to independent subjects. Finally, it analyzes the reasons for the changes in female images and puts forward the social problems caused by the changes in female images."
