Abstract
Soft power of university is a important hot topic in college education and management area. This paper first proposed the four component model based on the soft power of university in the analysis of different definitions about the soft power of university. The four component model consists of university culture charisma, university brand influence, university regulation vitality and university information extension. According to the evaluating principles of reflecting the connotation, combination of subjective and objective indicators, combination of universality and particularity, evaluation indicator system of the soft power of university based on the four component model is firstly proposed.
