Abstract

In order to cope with the needs of large-scale substation intelligent transformation in China during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period and the corresponding intelligent transformation of traditional substation condition monitoring systems, this article takes 500 kV traditional substations as an example. Analysis of standards, software and hardware of station control layer and bay layer, diagnostic methods, etc., gives the realization method of upgrading, and points out the next research direction. This transformation can lay a good foundation for the informationization, automation and interaction of the smart grid.
