Abstract
Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is widely used in the field of electric vehicles. The equivalent air gap of traditional permanent magnet induction motor is larger, the amount of permanent magnet is larger, the excitation potential of permanent magnet is larger, and the extension range of motor speed is smaller. The excitation potential of hybrid permanent magnet synchronous motor is small, and the ratio of short circuit current to rated current is small. Therefore, the weak magnetic performance of hybrid structure is better than that of traditional permanent magnet synchronous motor. The experiment of flux-weakening control using additional voltage feedback method shows that the flux-weakening multiple of hybrid permanent magnet synchronous motor can reach 4 times. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the hybrid structure can effectively improve the flux-weakening speed expansion ability of permanent magnet synchronous motor.
