Abstract
This paper studies the problem of sintering blending from the perspective of quality loss, based on satisfying sinter property indexes that blast-furnace ironmaking requires. First, linear programming model for optimization blending is establish and return fine of blast furnace (unaccepted product in sintering production) is taken as one decision variable in sintering blending. Second, functional relations between blast furnace return fine and sintering materials, tumbler strength as well as average sinter size have been fitted out by statistical methods, which are considered to be the constraint conditions for the model. Finally, according to the actual production data of the sintering plant from an iron and steel group, the model is calculated using optimization model. The result of the example shows that the optimization model realized the purpose of sinter cost reduction, while quality indexes of sinter were improved.
