Abstract

To promote the automated driving function field test for intelligent & connected vehicle in vehicle proving ground, a scenario construction method for automated driving functions field test is proposed in this paper. Firstly, through a systematic analysis of the 29 required scenarios and the actual roads situation in vehicle proving ground, 7 clusters of basic road characteristics of scenarios are summarized and taken as the basic items. Then, different special pavement marking, traffic light & sign and target are added in turn on the basic item of a selected scenario by a variable item with layered architecture to complete the scenario configuration flexibly. And the proposed method can clearly show construction difficulty of each scenario, and multiple scenarios can be constructed in the same site, which can realize a reuse of a single site in closed field to improve the test efficiency.
