Abstract
Relay protection is a key part of the operation in the power plant, it can protect the safety of power plants. With the reform and development of power plants, the safe operation of relay protection is facing greater pressure, it needs to meet the needs of power plants to complete security protection, to avoid causing safety incidents. Power plant operation is very focused on the application of relay protection, through the protection of power plants to maintain the safety. However, the safety management of power plant relay protection involves a wide range, and requires a high degree of professionalism and technical, in the relay protection work has a greater difficulty. Therefore, this paper analyzes the role and significance of relay protection, combined with the application of power plant relay protection, put forward the precautions for safe operation of relay protection.
