Abstract

In this paper, the professional ethics growth situation of young teachers in colleges and universities was analyzed in accordance with Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. According to the analysis, young teachers in colleges and universities generally had low status and salary, heavy teaching tasks, great scientific research pressure, lack of respect, difficulty in self-realization and other difficulties, so that their individual needs were not well met. It was mainly caused by three aspects: the implementation of teacher ethics education was not effective, the management of teachers did not reach the designated position and the incentive measures were not perfect. This paper proposes that colleges and universities should strengthen the education of teachers' professional ethics, improve the status and salary of young teachers, and establish the ladder-type teacher management mechanism, so as to stimulate the vitality and work enthusiasm of young teachers.
