Abstract

The power intelligent tools have implemented wireless communication, positioning, perception, data interaction, and work ticket linkage by the implanted RFID tags. The communication performance of implanted tags can be affected by the material of the tool, resulting in performance degradation. In order to learn the degradation of RFID, this paper first analyzes the transmission characteristics and main performance indicators of RFID. Secondly, FEKO software is used to establish to simulate the performance of implanted RFID tag, and the influence of implantation depth and dielectric constant on the transmission performance of RFID tag is studied. Finally, RFID performance test platform is built to test reading distance of different dielectric constants and implantation depths, and the signal to noise ratio and the received signal strength indicator of different transmission distances are tested. Experimental results show that the implantation depth of RFID and the material dielectric constant affect the performance of RFID, and the transmission distance of RFID chips implanted in tools is reduced.
