Abstract

Localization is one of the mainly topic of wireless sensor networks. Localization algorithm in wireless sensor networks can be divided into two types: range-based localization algorithm and range-free localization algorithm. LDV-HOP algorithm, based on range-based localization algorithm, is presented in this paper. The local positioning accuracy is improved by cycling the localization result under the small amount of low-power conditions. The simulation of the algorithm is carried out in the NS2 platform to verify correctness and feasibility. At last, the algorithm is employed in the physical experiments to further validate the good accuracy in the practical application.
