Abstract

Computer Generated Force (CGF) battlefield terrain is expressed in professional terrain database, For the information of polygonal obstacles of battlefield terrain obtained by the interface of CGF terrain database, we adopt the topology polygon to modeling circumstance, present a Genetic Algorithms coded with binary method based on the vertexes of polygonal obstacle, consider the battlefield terrain factors which affect the maneuverability of CGF entities, such as, soil types, terrain slope, into the design of adaptability function of Genetic Algorithms, research the method of global path planning which is suitable to CGF battlefield environment. The simulation results validate the validity and precision of this method.
