Abstract

In order to survive more and more enterprises have to put more attention to its core business and outsource its complex information technology. For many enterprises, what matters is no longer whether IT outsourcing should be practiced but how it should be well managed. Outsourcing Relationship is one of the key issues of IT outsourcing. This paper firstly reviews the literature about IT outsourcing relationships; secondly, it analyses dynamic mechanism of IT outsourcing relationship formation: external power including government, competitors, technology, suppliers' industrial level and internal power including enterprise's management ability, top management and outsourcing project; lastly, it forms one model and one analysis process to explain formation mechanism of enterprise IT outsourcing relationship.
