Abstract
The private network for vertical industry has the requirements of rapid deployment, quick launch and simplified configuration process, while the network architecture based on 3GPP standard is too large and complex to meet. Lightweight 5GC aims to reference the standard architecture, implement the cloud-based core network of hardware and software decoupling and separation of control plane and user plane based on the general hardware platform with virtualization technology, and reduce the service process to improve the service capacity by integrating and trimming the network functions, thus becoming a new solution for the vertical industry private network. Starting from the requirements and solutions of the vertical industry-oriented private network, this paper analyzes the shortcomings of the 5G core network, put forward the implementation architecture and key technologies of the lightweight 5G core network, and finally explores the deployment scheme based on typical cases of emergency support.
