Abstract
We present a method of exact estimation of the decay rate of the “average sign” which appears in the world-line quantum Monte Carlo calculations for frustrated spin systems. We observe the dependence of the negative-sign problem on the spin representation for the antiferromagnetic XXZ model on a triangular lattice.
