Abstract
The article reveals the concept of humanitarian assistance within the framework of customs legislation. The paper identifies the problems regulating the provision of humanitarian assistance: contradictions in establishing the status of humanitarian goods, the lack of deadlines for granting the status of humanitarian aid to cargo, the absence of a legislative definition of the term "final recipient".
