Abstract
Indian has recently emerged as one of the leading developing countries basically on strength its Constitutional protection to religious pluralism among its people. The paper focus how Indian civilization has played host to several migrant groups and communities from time to time and these groups as well as communities has been guaranteed fundamental rights in matters of religion. The religious pluralism has been fostered by various decisions of the Indian higher judiciary.
