Abstract

The results of power system reliability evaluation are greatly affected by weather changes. The model of reliability evaluation is the focus of all research. In this paper, a mathematical model for reliability evaluation considering two weather conditions is established, and an analysis method of reliability index under two conditions is proposed. Two sets of formulas for calculating the original parameters of reliability under these two conditions are given. The reliability index is given for different proportions of adverse weather. The analysis shows that the reliability index of the system is greatly affected by the duration and the component failure rate of adverse weather. Finally, an example is given to prove the validity of the model. At the same time, the model can also be used to study the influence of similar environmental changes, which has a certain guiding significance for power grid planning and practical operation.
