Abstract
The catalytic activity of several organometallic derivatives of polyoxometalates, especially those of general formula [M 4O 16{M′(η 6-arene)} 4] (M = Mo, W; M′ = Ru, Os), was evaluated in the racemization of secondary alcohols. A link between composition, fluxionality and catalytic activity was established.
