Abstract

Background: Multiple system atrophy (MSA) shows central autonomic dysfunction. Although it is expected that cardiac parasympathetic dysfunction is due to neurodegeneration of the dorsal vagal motor nucleus(DMV) and the nucleus ambiguus in MSA, there is no study addressing the association between parasympathetic function and neuroimaging indices.
