Abstract
This paper shows the possibility of producing high - density materials based on silicon carbide in a short time with the methods of electropulse consolidation and flashsintering. During the experiments, several types of modes were considered which vary from each other by different initial data (pressure, temperature, power). While analyzing the data, a flash - sintering mode has been improved. The sintering of silicon carbide with the given mode allows producing a sample with a density equal to 97% of its theoretical density.
