Abstract
Presento información de cinco especies de aves registradas en la cuenca baja del Río Verde, Oaxaca, en las inmediaciones del Parque Nacional Lagunas de Chacahua. Para Hylocichla mustelina, este es el primer registro en la planicie costera del suroeste de Oaxaca; los registros de Falco femoralis, Aramus guarauna y Peucaea humeralis amplían nuestro conocimiento sobre su distribución en esta parte de Oaxaca, mientras que el de Aramides axillaris es sólo el segundo registro para el estado.
