Abstract
プラスチックは，その有用性から，幅広い製品や容器包装にあまねく利用されている現代社会に不可欠な素材である一方，海洋プラスチックごみ問題，気候変動問題，諸外国の廃棄物輸入規制強化等への対応を契機として，国内におけるプラスチックの資源循環を一層促進する重要性が高まっている。このような背景から，「プラスチックに係る資源循環の促進等に関する法律」（令和3年法律60号）が成立し，令和4年4月1日に施行した。本法律は，プラスチック製品の設計から廃棄物の処理に至るまでのライフサイクル全般にわたって，3R＋Renewable（再生素材・再生可能資源への切替え）の原則に則り，あらゆる主体のプラスチック資源循環等の取組を促進するものである
