Abstract

This article is a sequel to the paper by the same authors appearing in the last issue of the journal, and it presents the expert opinions of 65 individuals in the field of education on the implications for teachers when moving from a teaching model to a learning model through the use of information and communications technology (ICT). The need for teachers to acquire new skills and competencies is strongly stressed. However, well‐adapted and ongoing teacher training is felt to be critical to a successful integration of ICT in the learning process. As in Part I, comments from various interviewees are quoted with an indication of their source.
