Abstract
The composition and gold-bearing potential of linear-areal weathering crusts of the Eravnensk prospective area in the Republic of Buryatia, that are located within complex gold-bearing ore prospects, are considered. Data on the forms of gold occurrence and some of the gold features are provided. The character of gold ore mineralization in deluvium and proluvium is shown. The effectiveness and reliability of various geochemical methods are compared in relation to the landscape conditions of the work area.
