Abstract

This contribution deals with the application of the parallel-in-time method Parareal to field/circuit coupled systems. Here, two different models are considered for the parallelisation algorithm. Hereby Maxwell's equations are only solved on the fine, accurate level, that is executed in parallel. For the coarse solver, which is computed sequentially, a reduced system consisting of only a circuit is solved. This allows reducing the computational cost significantly.
