DISTINCT GENOME SEQUENCING AND ASSEMBLY GOAL: Identification of every distinct genome present in a microbial sample. ASSUMPTION: Automated microfluidic devices are envisioned, that will be capable of high throughput • isolation of every individual cell in the sample, • DNA extraction, • DNA amplification using multiple displacement amplification (MDA) method, • grouping and barcoding of cells.
