Abstract

Eosinophil-related cardiovascular toxicity mostly consists of endomyocardial fibrosis, endocardial thrombi (with subsequent potential cardiac embolism), venous thromboembolism, and eosinophilic vasculitis.1,2 Eosinophilia-related coronary vasospasm is a rare and underrecognized life-threatening condition that has been reported in patients with aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD), eosinophilia-myalgia syndrome, hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES), and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA).
