Abstract

A patient presented with an unusually large myxoma of the mandible. It was treated by resection and immediate reconstruction using a costochondral graft. Remodelling of this graft was remarkable. The tumour recurred in the condylar region of the graft and further surgical intervention was necessary. The treatment of large myxomas is discussed.
