Abstract

Background: Colorectal cancer screening is routinely performed in Australia and New Zealand for people aged 50-74 years, with cancers detected at an earlier stage in this population. The aim of the current study was to analyse the presentation and treatment outcomes of rectal cancer patients outside the screening age.
