Abstract

This special issue of Archaeological Research in Asia brings together nine articles that reflect many of the recent trends in research on the region that is investigating the early peopling of the Tibetan Plateau and the early cultural developments that occurred in and around this region. They demonstrate that this is a vibrant, multidisciplinary field and that questions of mobility, interaction, and technological developments are being actively investigated.
