Abstract
We describe some recent developments in the Anomaly Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking scenario. In particular we focus on resolutions of the tachyonic slepton puzzle based on extending the MSSM by an anomaly free U 1 symmetry, so that exact RG invariance is preserved.
