Abstract
Recent Advances in Dermatology is the ninth of its series, well edited by Robert H. Champion and Richard J. Pye, both from the United Kingdom. This book consists of 13 chapters contributed from authors from the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States. The goal of the book is to provide the practicing clinical dermatologist with the most recent advances in the field. Chapters range widely from an update of the more common aspects of dermatology, such as atopic dermatitis and the house dust mite, leg ulcers, rheumatoid arthritis and the skin, and panniculitis, to a review of malignant cutaneous lymphoma, Kawasaki disease, tropical ulcers, and medical audit for dermatologists. Therapeutic chapters consist of photopheresis and immunomodulation with monoclonal antibodies.
