Abstract
Resume η3-Bonded α-methylene γ- or δ-lactone complexes are formed by intramolecular reactions fo hydroxy-σ-alkynyl-manganese and -molybdenum compounds. A cationic allenol complex gives a similar neutral lactone product and must be considered as a probable intermediate in the reaction.
