Abstract

A terminal carbonyl of CpCo(CO) 2 inserts into the U=C bond of Cp 3 U=CHPMeRPh (R=Ph or Me) to produce Cp(OC)CoC(OUCp 3 )=CHPMeRPh. The structure of Cp(OC)CoC(OUCp 3 )=CHPMe 2 Ph has been confirmed by X-ray diffraction: space group P2 1 2 1 2 1
