Abstract
The results of an extensive analysis of progress and policies of renewable energy in the EU were published recently. In this article Rogier Coenraads, consultant renewable energy policies at Ecofys, and Rolf de Vos of GreenPrices analyse the main outcome of the study: the 12% target for 2010 will be hard to meet, but 20% by 2020 is still feasible.
