Abstract

The economic and socio-cultural sphere of the Arctic zone of the European North of Russia was actively developing in the 1950s - 80s. This process has served as a catalyst for increasing the scale of training, including those with secondary specialized education. The article examines the state of the system of secondary special education in the Arctic regions during this period, for the first time in historiography the register of secondary special educational institutions operating in the Arctic zone of the European North of the RSFSR is presented.
