Abstract
The rational parameters of the regime of surface plastic deformation (burnishing) with simultaneous exposure of ultrasonic vibrations are experimentally determined: an initial depth of penetration of the indenter, an angular and linear speeds of the workpiece. It has been established that under ultrasonic treatment the microhardness of the surface increases, with intensive ultrasonic treatment the microhardness increases to 7200 MPa, but at the same time chips are observed on the surface. Keywords: wear resistance, restoration of parts, burnishing, ultrasonic processing, non-abrasive processing, surface plastic deformation, processing mode. kharchenko.mv@bk.ru
