Abstract
Ranges of absolute and relative organ weights for normal beagles were established from weights of animals which had been used as controls for toxicity studies. The use of these ranges was illustrated by applying them to organ weights of treated dogs and comparing the evaluation of weight changes with the results of histopathologic studies. In nearly 80% of the organs examined the histopathologic diagnoses agreed with the weight findings.
