Abstract

The radiation effect on crystallization of polypropylene without and with additives titanium dioxide, carbon, blue color and orange color pigments and on the size of spherulite during isothermal crystallization of polypropylene were introduced. The Avrami exponents (n value) was 3.36 for unirradiation sample, but dropped to 2.36 after irradiation with 730 kGy due to the dimension of development was dropped by gel fraction and other factors. The half time of crystallization(t 1/2) were dependent on the type of additives and also on irradiation dose. The reasons of above phenomena were discussed.
