Abstract

Quantitative analysis of camphor included in various cosmetic products was carried out by means of the oxime method, the improved oxime method, dinitrophenyl hydrazine method, ultraviolot absorption method and the gas chromatography method, and it was found that both oxime methods are applicable only to ointment type products and the G. C method to some ointment and lotion type products.
