Abstract

Abstract. This article aims to study Iranian traditional music and architecture comparatively. Architecture is frozen music which runs through spiritual world. Iranian Architecture is an outstanding objective proof of traditional music instrument and songs in real world. Most comparisons have been conducted to study their communal part. This article studies the distinction and communal phase of both arts in qualitative and quantitative forms. It is based on comparative research that studies the differences between traditional music and architecture. Finally, despite the structural differences between these two arts, there are qualitative and quantitative relationships which convey unique concept in all periods.
