Abstract
!e way each addict lives in day to day life, is something that should be particularly perceived by caregivers because they will be better prepared to care for. Sometimes the prior construction by the health technicians that drug users have poor quality of life and poor mental health can removes them from their perception of the other goals. !erefore, we must revisit these subjective concepts and evaluate how each one perceived and self assess their status in determining time. We analyzed the relationship between quality of life and mental health perception, in a systematic random sample of 180 opiate addicts, integrated into a methadone maintenance program and accepted to answer formulated question from two instruments.
