Modern technology has been proven to be present in various fields, and this phenomenon interests many organizations to benefit from sustainability and stability, including what contributes to creating a healthy and safe living environment for the people. One of the museums in Indonesia has been applying the technology: Museum Universitas Gadjah Mada (Gajah Mada University) or Museum UGM in Yogjakarta. The museum has recently launched QR Code Museum Automatic Guiding Plus (UGM QR Code), a revolutionary technology, containing navigation, guidance, and narration about the collections on display using a QR Code scanner on a smartphone. This technology gives visitors access to short descriptions of the collections and pertinent information about the museum’s collection such as research, photos, and books.
