Abstract

Juhasz et al.1 induced solitary or multiple pulmonary adenomas in 7 of 45 albino mice which received intraperitoneal injections of isoniazid in water for three months and survived for periods up to 7½ months. Mori et al.2 incorporated the same compound in varying doses in the diet of dd mice for periods of 2, 3 or 4 months, obtaining 100 per cent of pulmonary ‘tumours’ in mice surviving the largest dose for 7½ months.
