Abstract

Introduction/Objective: Patients with COPD have many medical and psychosocial needs, and often require subacute services after an acute hospitalization for exacerbation of their disease. Although pulmonary rehabilitation is a known resource, most of these programs are located in acute rehabilitation centers which may not be the appropriate discharge location for many patients with multiple comorbidities. The objective of this pilot study was to determine if residents enrolled in this new program felt benefited by it.
