Abstract

Trust management has become an important component for protecting the security of power information systems. In this paper, we propose a novel trust model, PT-Trust, to improve the accuracy of trust evaluation for collaborative terminals in power information systems. PT-Trust consists of three components, namely direct trust assessment, trust recommenddation, and trust aggregation. To improve the trust evaluation accuracy, direct trust assessment introduces interaction cost to rapidly degrade the direct trust scores of malicious trustees. Meanwhile, trust recommendation introduces the experience-similarity to effectively select the recommenders which are supposed to have similar trust scores about the trustee as the trustor. In addition, trust aggregation generates the final trust score by aggregating direct and recommendation trust scores according to their accuracies adaptively. Extensive simulation results show that PT-Trust can significantly improve the accuracy of trust evaluation for collaborative terminals in a power information system.
